A Staking Mechanism:
Package maintainers, supporters, and tea tasters can stake the TEA token to show their reputation and dedication and to affect how rewards and punishments are distributed within the system.
A fixed supply token:
A predetermined plan will be followed for distributing the maximum 10 billion $TEA supply among different stakeholders. A separate technical paper will address the emission and distribution of tokens.
Will There be a Tea ($TEA) Token Airdrop?
Details about the tea ($TEA) token airdrop have previously been revealed. With the completion of the incentive-based testnet tasks, you will receive points that will be converted to the airdrop, as tea has confirmed. On June 12, 2024, their mainnet and $TEA token will also be live. It is anticipated that at that point participants will receive their airdropped $TEA tokens. You can earn up to 1,000 points as a general tea testnet participant by completing tasks. However, you might obtain much more if you finish the assignments that make it necessary for you to be an expert protocol developer.
How to Get the Tea Protocol ($TEA) Token Airdrop?

Sign up on Tea
To sign up, visit the link. Connect your Github account and sign up with your email address or Discord channel.
Complete Profile
Select your profile and go to the “Settings” area. Complete all necessary fields, including adding your email address and sharing a little bit of personal information. Completing this task will win you points. As there is a time limit and a 5x point increase for doing this, we advise you to do it as soon as possible.
Check Task Status on Dashboard
Hit the second button from the left to see the tea Testnet dashboard. You can see lists of the tasks that need to be done here.
Get Discord Roles
Get on the tea Protocol Discord channel. Points can be earned by posting and doing tasks like participating in social media and responding to questions. Every Monday, players will receive XP Points for the previous week. After earning more XP Points than a certain limit, you can advance to new roles.
Optional: Get a top 10% Rated Project on Tea Protocol.
Go to “my OSS projects” and select “Register a New OSS Project” to register your open-source project on tea Protocol if you are a developer. As dependencies and contributors are necessary for your project to be qualified, make sure you have both. Get 25,000 points if your project receives a tea rank in the top 10%.
